Book Review : MAN'S SEARCH FOR MEANING BY VIKTOR E.FRANKL

It took me forever, but I finished the book!

I must say even if the book itself wasn't so long one can't simply put into a short review about the vastness of the content the book holds.

It maybe, if put in simple words 'an account of a victim of the holocaust' but truly it is much more.
The author himself is a psychologist hence he brings out the psychological aspect of things thought relevent to the holocaust, can also be adapted to in real life.

The lessons one can learn from this book is alot.
From the depths of the basis of human existance to finding reasons to live ,it has the most beautiful lessons, all in one book.

I would suggest it to anyone and everyone but specially to those who may have lost a little hope and are suffering because this book may change you completely.

Not going to spoil the book for you all ,so I'll stop here!!

P.s. : my favourite quote from the book(btw this entire book is a quote lovers paradise) :-

"To draw an analogy: a man's suffering is similar to the behaviour of gas. If a certain quantity of gas is pumped into an empty chamber, it will fill the chamber completely and evenly, no matter how big the chamber is.
Thus suffering completely fills the human soul and conscious mind, no matter whether the suffering is great or little.
Therefore the 'size' of human suffering is absolutely relative."

KDRAMA SUGGESTION : DUEL (듀얼)

Kdrama 'DUEL' which aired in 2017, Is a OCN original chase thriller drama
Starring the popularly known Rookie Monstor Yang Se jung, Seo Eun Soo ,Jang Jae Yung and Kim Jung Eun

It's a scifi /suspense / crime drama about a 24 year long mystery about a doctor who died 24 years ago who has two clones who are literally his exact copy.

This drama is basically all about the anticipation you will have in each expisode!
It will definitely keep you on your toes through our the drama.

And you can see the absolutely amazing talent of this young actor who started his career in 2016 in the hit medical drama 'Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim' for playing three different roles in the same drama!
And overall, eveyone did a good job!

Some amazing piece of work there!

The series has 16 one hour long episodes.


Personally I loved this drama with all it's suspense and also I was totally thrilled by Yang Se Jung's acting!

A drama that really makes you wonder where science is really heading to but honestly in my opinion I doubt we won't be making any 100% perfectly replicated clones of humans anytime soon!

CURRENT READ!

Currently reading this book called 'Man's search for meaning' written by Author Viktor E. Frankl.
It's set in the time of the world war 2 and is about the encounter and experiences of a nonprivileged victim of the holocaust.

suggested to me by a good friend who is very picky when it comes to good book so, I'm sure it'll be good!

will do a detailed review once I'm done reading!
